Real Estate Market Trend for July 2012 for Palm Beach County
This graphic represents the Number of homes for Sale vs. Sold vs. Pended.
As you can see from the graphic, the real estate market in Palm Beach County (Florida) is slightly getting better. We are not quite there just yet, however from the graphic you can see that people are buying and the inventory is getting lower. There are still plenty of properties available for sale. What this graphic doesn’t show is the number of Foreclosures and Short Sales that are out there. Lower Inventory means that prices are slowly going up…don’t get me wrong, there is still a long way to go with the recovery but we are on the upward trend…

Housing Market Year-Over-Year
Housing Facts - 2nd Quarter 2012 vs 2nd Quarter 2011 - Looking at some of the numbers and figures for the Housing Market over the past year. Some interesting numbers, don’t you think?
Source: KCM Blog

Looking at the Delray Beach Real Estate Market Report for July 2012 shows a total of 269 properties sold (Single Family Homes, Townhomes and Condos). Of these 269 properties a total of 33 of them were Short Sales (kind of hard to tell how many of these properties were Foreclosures). It still shows an active Buyers Market for the city of Delray Beach. Buyers are still looking for good market values. Note for all Sellers out there, properties are selling if they are priced right correctly and realistic.
